Mama’s Lighthouse was born from a lineage of mothers, grandmothers, and community caretakers whose wisdom continues to guide this work today. From an early age, Sharon was surrounded by women who nurtured, protected, and supported others through life’s most important moments. Their teachings became the foundation for the care she now provides to families and communities.
The lighthouse represents that generational guidance. Just as a lighthouse shines its light to help others safely navigate their journey, Mama’s Lighthouse exists to offer steady support, clarity, and protection during the sacred transition into parenthood.
Through her calling as a perinatal birth worker and her spiritual path as an initiated Iyanifa within the Ifá tradition, Sharon brings together practical maternal care and ancestral wisdom. This work honors the past while supporting the present, ensuring that families receive care that is rooted in tradition, guided by spirit, and grounded in community.
